Many specialists who study sleep studies show that a lack of sleep on a regular basis can result in various problems and you can get very sick by not having the right amount of sleep. Usually, these signs of weakness will begin to show on your face with dark circles around your eyes or an acne break out in the first stages with many other issues as time passes which can be a lot more serious.

Although the subject has not been studied in great detail, specialists have found that there are many medical issues and conditions that can result in sleeplessness. Some of these conditions include asthma, arthritis due to the pain, gastrointestinal issues, reflux and other severe pains. If the condition is temporary and a result of a temporary condition such as a sprain or a broken bone, you should not worry too much as it will pass off with time and a few strong pain killers should help you to sleep easier. However, if the problem is long lasting, you will want to have it checked up by a doctor as it can cause many dangerous issues. You need to identify the cause of your problem and find out if it is a result of some other condition or if it is a problem of its own. If it is another condition such as asthma that is causing it then you need to find a way to treat that condition.
